The first of its kind, this drawing is printed on a robust 45% recycled polyester canvas and hangs from custom dowels. You would need to yield roughly 5x6 feet for this puppy.
Each is made to order. Order before November 22 to receive it by Christmas.
We were told 17,000 people came through the event over this past weekend. whoa.
On all levels, we were very impressed! The event production of West Coast Craft was absolutely on-point. We were also quite proud to stand alongside this group of talented vendors. We mingled with a few old buds, including Danny of Superstucture, Sonny at Sonny Marshall Studio and of course Eric Trine.
Read this 2012 interview we did with Eric from the first Killscrow online presence, the blog titled Ley Lines.
Just a few more West Coast Craft Vendors we also admire, among several:
Ozma beautifully made women's clothing
Block Shop coveted hand-printed textiles
Phloem Studio extremely well-crafted furniture
Fat & the Moon yummy herbal body care
Scout Leather Goods well it's leather goods
WCC is a thoughtfully curated market for designers, artists and makers. We look forward to sharing more work with one of favorite towns. Hope to see you there... winter is coming.
November 14 & 15 from 10am to 6pm at the Fort Mason Center on the San Francisco waterfront.
FREE admission

Lana's latest piece is finished. She's big- 4 x 6 feet on paper. This is a drawing with integrated block prints, ink on paper. This will be shown for the first time at November's West Coast Craft show in San Francisco. More on WCC soon...
The newly opened Dudley Market in Venice, CA commissioned Lana to produce a 50 foot long mural. Working title is "Farm to Palm". The local Venice Beach "flavor" made this project a unique adventure indeed. In this growing neighborhood, Dudley Market is set to be a beacon for food and drink integrity in every sense- quality, ethical and conscious.
Visit the mural and the market/bistro on 9 Dudley Ave just across from the Cadillac Hotel in Venice, CA.
Special thanks to the local Venice community for your encouragement and for not running Lana over!
Here's a short slideshow of the mural process....
We can really relate to Kelly Sarno, the founder of the "blogazine" Poetry of Living. She is sensitive to the spirit of how things are made and created around her and wishes to really connect with the source. Kelly reached out to us recently to chat more about what we do and why we do it. She asked us good questions about what connects our contrasting mediums and where we are going. If we are able to connect people like Kelly with our work, then we are doing our job well. Thank you to Kelly and Devin Sarno for your interest!
We were fortunate to snag some prime real estate in the California Handmade: State of the Arts exhibition at the Maloof Foundation. The credenza is the first thing you see when the gallery doors open. Incredible honor!
Pictured here you can also see the work of 2 masters. Our friend and mentor Laura Mays of Yaffe Mays exhibited the elegant Facet Boxes. We've also also been admiring (perhaps ogling) the new Ample chair Yaffe Mays recently completed. The other work is a quiet and beautiful weaving by the great Kay Sekimachi- a titan in the craft world.
Thank you to Craft in America and the Maloof Foundation. Visit Maloof from 12-4 Thursdays and Saturdays now through January 2016.
